Fraudulent Email Warning

Please be aware of any scam emails that may look like they are coming from David Lane, other District office staff, or even your own church office staff.

Here are some things to keep in mind if you're wondering if an email is legitimate.

  • Fraudulent emails will typically end in, but are not limited to, "yahoo.com", "gmail.com". District emails will end in "cdcma.org".

  • These emails will demand secrecy, they don't want you to call the office or person to confirm.

  • They request that you purchase something and/or send them money.

    • We will never ask you to make purchases for the Central District without speaking to you first.

    • You should always consult with the person asking for the purchase and/or money in a format other than email.

What should you do if you receive an email that you believe is fraudulent? Delete it. There is no further action to take. If you aren’t sure and would like to check an email’s validity, please call our office.

If you ever receive an email that you believe is fraudulent and it contains “cdcma.org”, call our office IMMEDIATELY! This would be a breach that we would need to address right away.

Please share this information with your church as we are seeing more and more email scams coming from people posing as one of our district pastors, church staff, and/or elders.

Thank you for your continued vigilance in this area.

Missions Kickoff Event

Join us Wednesday, July 17, at 7:00 p.m. ET for an event marking the beginning of the 2024–2025 Missions Engagement season.

Livestreaming from CONNECT, this virtual event will include worship, stories from Alliance international workers, the premier of the Missions Engagement theme video, and more!

In The Alliance, we take seriously Jesus’ Commission to make disciples of all nations. We are called to sow, pray over, and harvest empty, neglected fields, and then move on to others, and others—until there are no more empty or unplowed fields. Until all the world hears and our King returns. Until we see our vision of All of Jesus for All the World complete.

If you are local, consider bringing a group from your church to Grace Church to participate in person.

For those who live farther away, below is the link that will provide information about how to register for the livestream of this event as it will only be for registered attenders because of CAC realities.

John Stumbo Video Blog

See below a video blog from President John Stumbo.

"We’re in an age where so much is moving quickly and advancing—plans, technology, dreams. Though we can’t fully control the speed at which everything proceeds, we can stop and reflect on who we are becoming through these moments. Join me, and a special guest, in reflecting upon the steps of faith we may be called to take."

2024 Alliance Culture & Legal Update

Please see below information on a leadership event
hosted by the National Office.

We invite you to join other leaders from throughout our Alliance family to reflect and learn how we effectively live out the Great Commission in a culture where the foundations are shaken.

We will:

  • Learn from leaders of the Canadian Alliance how they navigate and apply practical ministry practices in that nation’s even more progressive context.

  • Receive an update on current court decisions and legislation that shape our ministry from a leading church law attorney.

  • Join with President John Stumbo and other Alliance leaders as we, together, respond to David’s question, what can the righteous do (Ps. 11:3)?

We’ve gathered our best thinkers and communicators.

Come participate in a robust presentation and discussion on
September 5–6, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio.

Please note: the special full scholarship opportunity provided by Orchard Alliance.
