Women’s Leadership Conference

Save the date for our first ever Central District Women’s Leadership Conference. We are excited to welcome Jen Ashby, our keynote speaker, to encourage and equip us as leaders. This conference is designed for any woman who leads or feels called to lead in the church.

Featured Speaker:
Dr. Jen Ashby has been serving with the Christian & Missionary Alliance since 1999, first in local C&MA churches, then in the Metro District Office, and currently at the National Office as Assistant Vice President for Leadership Development, Recruitment, & Member Care. She is consecrated and ordained with the C&MA, and served on the Board of Directors for seven years, four of which as the Vice Chair. She holds degrees from the University of Kansas and Alliance Theological Seminary, including a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Leadership in a Global Context. She enjoys exploring new places, dark roast coffee, and a good story in any form.

As our AW Fall retreat moves to every other year, we are encouraging local churches to host their own retreat in partnership with another Central District Alliance Church. Prayerfully consider this opportunity.
We’re excited to share our Retreat Resource Kit to support you as you prayerfully plan a local church retreat. Let us know if you are planning to host a retreat for your women or in partnership with other Central District churches. Open House and Ladies’ Day
July 22nd | Beulah Beach Camp and Retreat Center
We would love to see you for a beautiful day on the shores of Lake Erie. Come in the morning for Bible Hour and stop by our Central District AW Open House for a gift, refreshments, and to meet our team. Enjoy lunch on your own at Sunset Café or bring a picnic. Join with hundreds of other women for our afternoon session featuring Christy Nockels (https://www.christynockels.com/). Stay for an evening concert with Christy and her husband, Nathan. All events are free - no registration needed.

The Gathering

The Gathering is a conference presented by our National Alliance Women and held in Columbus, Ohio, from June 5-7, 2026. Gather with women across the US Alliance to hear challenging speakers, enjoy sweet fellowship, and take new steps in your walk with the Lord. Get a big picture of God’s work through Alliance Women.

Each of these projects celebrate and support a new thing that God is doing in His Kingdom through Alliance people. We encourage you to rise up with daily prayers and a one-time gift.
AFRICA - CONGO
Goal: $20,000
Pray that God would equip Congolese believers to share His word holistically - through story, song, and community development outreach - so that the Vili people may hear and respond to the Gospel.
EUROPE - FRANCE
Goal: $20,000
Pray for families affected by autism who often feel isolated and are likely under great pressure. Pray for this project as it creates a place of community and access to resources, and that the Gospel would be clearly lived out through its members, volunteers, and staff.
MCA - RIVERSIDE
Goal: $20,000
Pray for the provision of quality Christian education for underprivileged and special needs students in an unreached Muslim community, and that God would use this work to demonstrate His love and truth.
CAMA - KOSOVO
Goal: $20,000
Pray for The Bridge, a life skills and community development center that builds bridges to hope – that it continues to provide a welcoming environment where people can grow through training, activities, and meaningful relationships. Ask that those who come would discover, develop, and use their gifts to serve their community and walk in their God-given purpose.
UNITED STATES
Multi-Cultural Ministries
Goal: $20,000
Pray for non-majority, next generation leaders being trained through spiritual formation retreats.
AW Scholarships
Goal: $5,000
Pray for the AW Leadership Scholarship recipients participating in leadership development opportunities.
IW Candidates
Goal: $5,000
Pray for the financial needs of our international worker candidates as they prepare to go where the Lord has called them and serve in different regions of the world.
