Bring a group of ladies from your church and join us at Dover Alliance Church on Saturday, April 21 from 10:00am to 2:00pm (registration is from 9:30-10am) for a special day we have planned just for you.
This free event will include lunch and childcare through three years old.
We will have THREE Creative Access Country (CAC) workers share with us! Each woman will share of their work and family which will help us get to know them so we can better pray for them and the ministries they have been called to.
Our offering will go to the Outfit Fund, allowing our workers the funds to purchase what they need prior to returning from Home Assignment.
Growing A Healthy Church is a training provided by the Central District Office by Rev. Jeffrey Miller. This training is based upon a biblical understanding of Great Commission priorities as observed in the life of Christ.
This seminar and its companion workbook are designed to help church leaders gain a simple yet fresh glimpse into the balancing of winning, building and equipping priorities.
Who should attend? PASTORS, LAY LEADERS, ELDERS, POTENTIAL LEADERS.....
This training fulfills a requirement included in the Ordination & Consecration process but all are welcome.
This training will be held at Whipple Heights Alliance Church, 4900 12th St NW, Canton, Ohio 44708. Please plan to have lunch on your own.
Retreat for all Official Worker's and their spouses
Reverend Rick Toburen will be the presenter for this workshop. Rick came to Christ while a student at Purdue University through Cru. He was on their staff for six years and then the Associate Pastor at Chapel Hill Church (CMA) in Cuyahoga Falls for seven years. He was then a bi-vocational pastor for 30 years while he taught Chemistry at Solon High School. Rick retired in 2013 and began working more full-time with the Central District as the Coordinator for Ordination/Consecration and the Lead program. He loves to equip men and women to be more effective in utilizing their gifts and abilities to serve the Lord in His Kingdom. He saw a tremendous need in the church for equipping in evangelism and has used his background with Cru, the CMA and the educational workplace to develop a workshop that is highly interactive and practical.
Each participant will learn in a workshop environment a very simple method for sharing the Gospel. This method will help with the following questions:
1. How do I move a conversation to a presentation of the Gospel?
2. How do I guide someone to actually receive this free gift from our Lord?
3. How do I use my God-story to help me share the Gospel?
