Thank you for visiting the Central District Alliance Women
Our vision is that each local church would establish a women’s ministry, committed to making disciples of Jesus, relevant to their own context, while focused on: winning women to Christ, building them in their faith, and equipping them to be disciples.
Who We Are
We are a group of women, comprised of individual Alliance churches in Ohio and West Virginia, working together towards five common objectives, along with almost 2,000 other Alliance Churches from around the nation.
Fellowship: To build healthy, caring relationships among women in the local church.
Discipleship: To encourage study of God's Word, teaching women to follow Christ and to be built up in their faith.
Outreach: To equip women to share God's love and the message of the gospel with family, friends, and neighbors.
Missions: To involve women in the worldwide ministries of the Alliance through intercession, short term missions, support of overseas workers and their families, and an annual project that serves specified needs in various countries.
Prayer: To promote corporate and individual prayer for Alliance overseas workers, the ministries of the local church, church planting in the United States and prayer for individuals.
Our Mission: We exist to exalt Jesus and complete His Great Commission
Our Vision: We desire to experience the deeper life and be on mission together
Our Guiding Principle: "Connecting Women for Kingdom Impact, locally and globally."
Our Identity: We are women in a Christ-centered Acts 1:8 family
"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed!
Our 2019-2020 National Project
Our 2019-2020 National Project will provide resources to four key ministries that are setting women free. Pray for:
1. Bosnia-Herzegovina - Ellie, Janet, Dani, and others working with the Roma and women coming out of prison, introducing them to Jesus so they can be set free from fear and heroin addiction.
2. Cambodia – Heather and her team providing help and a home for those seeking to be set free from drug and alcohol addiction as they meet or return to God, the source of true freedom.
3. Paraguay – Keila and others reaching youth through camp ministry with the goal that they have an encounter with God and are set free to follow Jesus.
4. Uruguay – Stephanie and her team providing encounter retreats for well-educated women in a spiritually-resistant culture seeking to be set free from emptiness.
