The Alliance has always, since our very first days, been built upon two key premises:

• The Christ-life.  By this we mean the life of a disciple fully and daily surrendered to Jesus.  The deeper we all go into the heart and life of Jesus the more Jesus will overflow from our lives and churches in the power of the Holy Spirit.  This experience and reality leads inevitably to the second key premise –
• The Great Commission.  Out of the abundance of Jesus within us we, with increasing passion, carry the Good News of the grace and love of Jesus to a lost world.  We shine for Him in our own towns and communities and even to the whole of the world.  Acts 1:8 makes it clear that the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit will inevitably drive the engine of our zeal to reach a lost world, both locally and globally.

Deep & Wide is an event to bring these two premises together and watch what the Lord will do among us.  We are offering this event in two locations (each event identical).  There is no cost or ticket required. Each is from 7-9pm.  See the attached promotional information for more details.

West Virginia: Friday evening, March 31 at Morgantown Alliance Church (Morgantown, West Virginia)

Ohio: Saturday evening, April 1 at Freshwater Community Church (Wadsworth, Ohio)

Featured speaker will be Rev. John Stumbo, President of U.S C&MA.

In our churches are many, many people who are fairly new to the Christian and Missionary Alliance.  This connection between deep and wide is new to them.  Many are unaware of the scope of our world-wide work and their key role in what the Lord is doing in and through the Alliance.  Pastors and missions leaders, please work to bring along many of these new Alliance family members to this event.
