Lay Delegate Information For District Conference 2024

In addition to sending licensed workers to District Conference, each accredited Alliance church is permitted to also send two voting delegates. Keep in mind they must be Governing Board appointed. Each developing church is permitted to send one Lay Delegate chosen from among the congregation's general members by the Church Advisory Board.

This week you should have received the Lay Delegate Information for District Conference. Please be sure that your Governing Board Secretary gets this, and it is added to your next Governing Board meeting.

Please note: All are welcome to attend District Conference these guidelines apply for voting privileges.

All Lay Delegate forms must be received by Friday, August 9th, 2024.

 “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up” (Luke 18:1).

“They all joined together constantly in prayer…” (Acts 1:14).

“They devoted themselves to… prayer” (Acts 2:42).

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful” (Colossians 4:2).

All licensed workers, available church leaders and church members are invited to join in one of five regional partnership prayer gatherings.

The “prayer agenda” will focus on unity and strength as a movement and greater faithfulness to the Great Commission.

Just a reminder – new opportunities for speakers for your Missions Engagement events have been added to the signup calendar, and there are more than enough for every church that has not yet signed up.  If you haven’t had an opportunity to sign up, please check out the new options available to find one that works for your church. Profiles for all but one of the speakers have been emailed.

Bible Missionary Conference

Since 1921, Beulah Beach has held a Bible and Missionary Conference – and we haven’t lost our focus.  In fact, it’s a big as ever – biblical preaching, inspiring messages from international workers, something for all ages, entertainment and fellowship that your family will not want to miss.

Peacemaking Training: Level 2

If you are a Christian leader (consecrated and ordained or lay), you are already coaching. This two-day live seminar equips you to coach better from a biblical standpoint to help other people see and resolve their conflict from a godly perspective. Certified conflict coaches become resources for their churches.

Please note: You must complete level 1 training to participate in this event.

This training will be held at Riverside Alliance Church, May 22nd-23rd.

The cost to attend is $300.

Global Leadership Summit

Stow Alliance Fellowship is inviting people from the Central District to participate in the Global Leadership Summit.

The Global Leadership Summit (GLS) is one of the premier leadership conferences in the world. It is held live in Chicago each year and live streamed to multiple locations around the United States and the world.
This year Stow Alliance Fellowship is a host site.

The Great Commission Day Offering is one of the Alliance family’s key moments to send new workers and sustain those already active in the world’s hardest places. It’s about all of us joining in to complete the Great Commission—by giving, praying, and participating in what God has commanded us to do.
 

As the Alliance family, we—senders and goers alike—share a mutual calling and zeal for the Great Commission.

God has answered our prayers and raised up new workers to take the gospel into the world’s hardest places—among people on the move, the overlooked, and those lacking gospel access.
