Fraudulent Email Warning

Please be aware of any scam emails that may look like they are coming from David Lane or any other district office staff.

Here are some things to keep in mind if you're wondering if an email is legitimate.

  • Fraudulent emails will typically end in, but are not limited to, "yahoo.com", "gmail.com". All district emails will end in "cdcma.org".

  • These emails will demand secrecy, they don't want you to call the office to confirm.

  • They request that you purchase something. We will never ask you to make purchases for the Central District without speaking to you first.

What should you do if you receive an email that you believe is fraudulent? Delete it. There is no further action to take. If you aren’t sure and would like to check an email’s validity, please call our office.

If you ever receive an email that you believe is fraudulent and it contains “cdcma.org”, call our office IMMEDIATELY! This would be a breach that we would need to address right away.

Thank you for your vigilance in this area.
