Anyone interested in pursuing ministry in the Christian & Missionary Alliance as an official worker needs to:
1. Call the district superintendent and set up a pre-accreditation interview. [No one can be accredited for C&MA ministry unless they have completed a minimum of 30 hours of Bible].
2. At the end of the pre-accreditation interview, the district superintendent will determine whether or not the individual is potentially eligible to serve as an official worker. If considered to be eligible, the applicant will receive instruction on how proceed with an online application.
3. Once the district superintendent has received all of the required materials, a formal accreditation interview can be set up with the district LO&CC (License, Ordination, & Consecration Council.) Upon approval, the candidate will be ‘accredited’ for ministry and his/her resumé can be sent to the district office for distribution to churches looking for workers.
4. Once an individual has accepted a ministry position in a local church, the district will issue a license to that person and they will be officially credentialed.
5. As soon as a new official worker is licensed, he/she immediately begins the two-year process of ordination (male) or consecration (female).
