Alliance Men's Ministry

Jim Boscaljon and Les McMahan have joined us as Co-directors for the Alliance Men's Ministries.

Pastor Bryan Hetterscheidt, who led this ministry for several years, has decided to step away in order to focus on ministry at Center Pointe Church.  We are thankful for Bryan's faithful service and that the Lord has provided these men to follow in his footsteps.

Jim is an elder and worship leader at Lodi Community Church in Lodi, Ohio and is married to Val.  He works in IT for Signet Jewelers.

Les is married to Angie and serves as a lay leader at Hope Church in Brunswick, Ohio.  He is also a recent graduate of LEAD.  Les works at Key Bank.

Both men bring a strong heart for servant-minded ministry and greater effectiveness in men's discipleship.  You can reach both Jim and Les via email at  They will be hosting the Alliance Men's lunch on Tuesday at District Conference at which point you will be able to hear more of what will be coming in the future of Central District men's ministries.

Please be in prayer for these two men as they serve the Lord in the areas for which He has called and equipped them.

Momoko Black joins the district as a new worker with the Refugee Impact Collaborative (Cleveland, OH). Momoko is a recent graduate of Nyack College, and spent a summer with Envision in Taiwan.

Also new to the district is Rev. Dale Patrick (Lindsay), Sr. High Pastor at Grace Church (Middleburg Hts, OH). Dale comes to us from the South Atlantic District, where he served as an Assistant Pastor.

Rev. Jim McDonald (Carol) recently moved to the district from the North Central District. He is a retired pastor, and has spent time both in the US and working overseas. They have 4 adult children.
